Sport Strings Tzitzit by Tamir Goodman is an award winning hi-performance garment that features moisture and odor wicking properties, a compression fit, and UV protection – offering the wearer ultimate comfort and style for physical activity and everyday wear. After Sports Strings launched earlier this year, we quickly realized that they would be ideal for our IDF soldiers. Sport Strings Tzitzit are specially engineered for use during physical activity, which means they will keep soldiers dry, comfortable, and will help prevent skin irritation and chafing when worn under their uniform during physical training and combat. Moreover, the unique properties of Sport Strings Tzitzit will help keep our soldiers warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Since these tzitzit meet all halachic requirements they will not only provide physical comfort to our soldiers, but they will also arm them with spiritual strength. The impact

During operation Pillar of Defense, the IDF handed out over 8,000 pairs of tzitzit to soldiers! The basic tzitzit that the army distributes are not meant to withstand intense physical activity and perspiration; they can become saturated with moisture, uncomfortable in training & combat, and can irritate soldiers’ skin. In contrast to traditional tzitzit, Sport Strings Tzitzit are uniquely engineered to support the active lifestyle typical of an IDF combat soldier. The inner-compression layer wicks away moisture and odor and offers UV protections, keeping the soldiers dry, comfortable, and protected as they protect Israel. At the same time, the outer layer meets all the halachic requirements for tzitzit. What the money is for
